phototicker for tickerTXT

public or CC photo and image collections for tickerTXT purposes

We collect all kind of photos (and illustrations), that we can use in the context of tickerTXT. It is important to publish only pics with a Creative Commons License or a similarly "open" copyright.

If you find a great pic with a normal copyright, then post it as a "private" and only if it is worthy to ask the copyright holder for permission.

Also remember to always include the source and author, the license as well as tags about the location etc.

Therefore we recommend a tool like the posterous bookmarklet because this makes all those tasks so much easier.

We don't need the original files at this moment, only the place where to find it... :-)
